Heritage Grade Baize

Baize is the iconic British fabric revered for its commanding presence as well as its practicality. It’s been used for military uniforms throughout the ages, and is still worn to this day by The Queen’s Guards, and Royalty in full military dress uniform.

With a vast array of colours, shades, weights and weaves to choose from, the heritage grade baize that we stock was a natural choice for making historical military insignias and shoulder boards.

By sending us a small piece of the uniform fabric, we were able to identify the baize colour and type for our customer, and supply an authentic match.
